On the occasion of the publication of its 2007 annual report, Alkarama for Human Rights organised an "Open Day" event on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, from 15.00 to 19.00.
United Nations officials from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, journalists, NGO representatives and citizens were able at this day to know more about Alkarama's activities, particularly about the human rights situation in the Arab World. .
The meeting took place in a very friendly atmosphere with discussions, exchanges of experiences and perspectives for collaboration around a snack with mint tea and pastries from the Middle Eastern and the Maghreb.
